Well done! We must go further in detail to see the differences between our genetic architectures to provide a practical basis for the curing of human diseases. BGI does leads a good start while the tremendous data ahead may require much more day-to-day hunting.
As we have standardized and are improving the strategies to sequence the Whole Genomes, we must not forget that the real impact of this effort can only be realized by taking into account the role of environmental factors.
It is great to get more and more books made up of "ATCG" letters about human individual. However, it is still a long way to go forward to find out more information about the the meanings of the "Words" and the grammar in these books. So we should consider the distribution of the limited money and resource in research. In this case, is it wise to pay so much money to get a indiviual's gene sequence, especially in China where the fund on biology research is far from abundant now?
