Abstract
Using a lentiviral vector and a murine model of X-linked severe combined immune deficiency (X-SCID), we have shown that mice transplanted with cells constitutively overexpressing the therapeutic gene IL2RG, a subunit found in several cytokine receptors, can develop thymic lymphomas 6 to 12 months later1. Our results contradict those of Pike-Overzet et al 2and Thrasher et al.3.
