On 31 March 2016, the new Birmingham Dental Hospital and School of Dentistry (pictured) welcomed its first patients at its new home in Edgbaston.

The building is the first to be completed as part of the regeneration of the 27-acre Pebble Mill site. The four-storey development is the first integrated, stand-alone dental hospital and dental school to be built in the UK for almost 40 years. The world-class facility expects to treat more than 100,000 patients each year.
