How the regulatory and catalytic domains get together

Abstract

The crystal structure of a nearly intact phenylalanine hydroxylase provides important new insights into the molecular interactions between regulatory and catalytic domains and provides further evidence for an interaction between post-translational phosphorylation and allosteric regulation.
