Abstract
Biosynthesis of mitochondrial RNA polymerase is induced by inhibitors of mitochondrial transcription or translation. This polymerase therefore seems to be synthesized on cytoplasmic ribosomes, coded by a nuclear cistron and controlled by mitochondrial protein synthesis.
