Abstract
So far not enough is known about the isolation and virulent phages of B. cereus. Kellenberger1 studied the morphology of the temperate phages of a lysogenic cereus strain. McCloy's phages isolated from the lysogenic B. cereus W strain2 showed anthrax specificity. The phages of Pollock's B. cereus 569 strain was not known until recently3.
