Abstract
IT is generally accepted that the molecule of selenanthren is folded about the line joining the selenium atoms, but no experimental data have so far been obtained which would give the actual value of the angle of fold, although estimates have been given1. It has also been suggested that the selenanthren molecule is not rigid but is flexible about the line of folding2.
