Abstract
IN a recent communication on the crystal structure of 1, 3, 5-triphenylbenzene, Dr. Kathleen Lonsdale1 discusses the results of recent X-ray measurements on the crystal and concludes that the planes of the benzene rings of the molecules cannot coincide with the (001) plane of the crystal, as has been suggested by earlier investigators, but must be inclined to this plane.
