Antenna complex
The antenna complex is a light-harvesting membrane-associated aggregate of proteins and photosensitive pigments such as chlorophyll and carotenoids. They are situated inside the chloroplasts of photosynthetic organisms, capture the energy from light, and transfer it to the reaction centre where chemical reactions take place.
