    Over the last couple of decades there has been a significant increase in the burden of prostatic diseases, notably prostate cancer, in Asian countries. Along with that growth, we have seen a strong increase in the amount of research in Asia focused on prostate cancer. In this virtual issue of Prostate Cancer and Prostatic Diseases entitled “Best of Asia”, the journal’s Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Stephen Freedland, along with members of the editorial board in China, Drs. Dingwei Ye and Yao Zhu, selected the top articles published by authors in Asia over the past year.
