Advances in VR technologies have provided valuable tools for medical and behavioural research, and granted new avenues through which we can explore research questions across many fields of study. The versatility of VR technology reflects the fact that it is a naturally multidisciplinary area, often involving aspects of engineering, kinesiology, neuroscience, and psychology.
