The General Dental Council (GDC) has produced a cartoon to remind all dental nurses and technicians of the fast-approaching registration deadline.
All dental nurses and dental technicians must register with the GDC by 30 July 2008 in order to work legally within the UK.
In December alone, the GDC received some 7,000 applications from dental care professionals (DCPs) eager to beat the deadline. Due to this surge in applications, the GDC say that it may take them a little longer to register people, but urges DCPs not to panic and that they are working on it.
