Yee Lee (Senior Dental Officer) and Sam Davis (Senior Dental Nurse) with the CDS Mobile Dental Unit

Towards the end of 2011, Community Dental Services (CDS) opened their doors to the new dental facility based at Houghton Regis Health Centre.

The clinic is welcoming existing and new NHS patients and offers access to routine dental care as well as dental services for adults and children with special needs and minor oral surgery. In addition the clinic will act as a base for domiciliary care and the popular mobile services also offered by CDS. Yee Lee (senior dental officer, special care dentistry specialist), John Saunders (dental officer) and Priti Songra (dental therapist) are providing the treatment.

'We are all proud of the excellent new facilities that we can offer to our patients at the newly opened clinic,' said James Watkins, Chief Executive CDS – CIC. 'Community Dental Services are known for being specialists in their field and so as well as “Access and Routine Care” we also welcome referrals from other healthcare professionals into our dental services.'
