Following the publication of this article, the authors noted an error in the labelling of Fig. 1e. The patient sample labelled 8 should have been 18. For clarification, the untreated sample (left hand) lane is intentionally the same image as patient sample 18 in Fig. 1d; the sample in the right hand lane has been treated with LY294002 as indicated, to depict the reduction in pAkt Thr 308 levels.
