If Copoly-2 contains hydration water as described in the Experimental part, the molecular weight of the repeating unit is 367.5. Consequently the density of Copoly-2 having the packing mode shown in Chart 1 gives the following calculated density ρcalcd=(367.5×2)/(35×3.6×7.54×0.5023)=1.28 g cm−3.
