Abstract
The variable radio source associated with the supernova 1970g in M101 has been mapped at Westerbork (21 cm and 6 cm) and at Effelsberg (2.8 cm). Although there are as yet insufficient data to provide the basis for a unique theoretical model of the event it is already possible to single out promising lines of attack.
