Influence of Limited Solubility on the Electrical and Mechanical Properties of Ice

Abstract

The impurities in naturally occurring ices are usually sufficient to exceed a small but finite solubility limit and a second phase is formed. The influence of this phase on the electrical and mechanical properties of ice is discussed in this article.
