In vitro Synthesis of DNA complementary to mRNA derived from a Light Chain-producing Myeloma Tumour

Abstract

CONTRASTING theories have been proposed to account for the diversity of antibody molecules synthesized by the mammalian immune system in response to antigenic inducers1–8. Resolution of the problem is dependent on the availability of techniques to quantitate antibody genes and mRNA during cellular commitment to antibody synthesis.
