The Committee on Practice Management presents this document as a means to better understand the spectrum of practice among neonatologists and to better understand the many interrelated facets of clinical practice. To this end, this project:

  • identifies areas of knowledge and/or skill pertaining to practice understanding and/or management

  • presents some discussion, resources, educational means, and/or materials to aid in education about and analysis of the nonclinical care components of a neonatal practice

  • presents an initial step in assisting training programs and fellows as they address the wide spectrum of activities involved with a practice; and

  • provides an outline for existing practices to use in analyzing their nonclinical activities

identifies areas of knowledge and/or skill pertaining to practice understanding and/or management
