Abstract
Ischaemic changes associated with umbilical arterial cannulation is an important cause of neonatal morbidity in the NICU. We report siccessful use of topical nitroglycerine in an infant with ischaemic changes over the right buttock following insertion of an umbilical arterial catheter.
