A historical review of salaried plus bonus (Woodside terms) primary care dentists in Glasgow 1967-1997

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to assess the impact of the introduction, acceptance and historical place of salaried general dental practitioners employed under salary plus bonus 'Woodside Terms' in Glasgow from 1967 to 1997. Archival minutes and notes were reviewed together with contemporaneous correspondence for health centres within Greater Glasgow Health Board's catchment area
