Plasmon-induced hot-hole generation and extraction at nano-heterointerfaces for photocatalysis
Plasmon-enhanced photocatalysis allows for enhanced reaction kinetics and selectivity. Here, the importance of hot holes in plasmonic catalysis is discussed, with a focus on their efficient extraction via different nano-heterointerfaces.

Infrared response in photocatalytic polymeric carbon nitride for water splitting via an upconversion mechanism
Photocatalysts with broad-spectrum light activation are needed for high efficiency water splitting. Here, an upconversion process in oxygen-doped carbon nitride nanosheets contributes to enhanced photocatalytic activity under both visible and infrared light.
