Riccardo Autorino, USA
Riccardo Autorino, MD, PhD, is a fellowship trained urologic surgeon. He is currently Professor of Urology and Director of Surgical Innovation & Clinical Research in the Department of Urology at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. He also holds the position of Director for GU Research at Rush University Cancer Center. Native of Naples, Italy, where he received his MD degree and did his Urology residency, he completed a clinical Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopy & Robotic Surgery at the Glickman Urological Institute, Cleveland Clinic in 2014. After graduating from fellowship, Dr. Autorino worked for 3 years as an Associate Professor of Urology at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. From 2017 to 2022, he worked at Virginia Commonwealth University Health in Richmond (VA) as Director of Urologic Oncology. Dr. Autorino is diplomate of the American Board of Urology, as well as Fellow of the European Board of Urology. He published over 550 PubMed-indexed peer reviewed publications and has a 64 Scopus h-index. Dr. Autorino received many awards for his academic activity, including the 2012 Italian Society of Urology (SIU) Matula Award, and the 2017 Hans Marberger Award at EAU Meeting. Dr. Autorino has been involved in different fields of urologic research mainly related to minimally invasive treatment of genitourinary cancers, and to the implementation of new technologies in the field of uro-oncology. He led several multi-institutional multinational collaborations. He serves as Associate editor for Urology Video Journal, Minerva Urology and Central European Journal of Urology, and as editorial board member for many Urology journals. He has performed over 1000 robotic procedures, and he is among the few surgeons in the world regularly performing SP robotic surgery. Dr. Autorino participated as an invited speaker or surgeon in several regional, national, and international meetings worldwide.

Jun Luo, USA                                         
Jun Luo, PhD, is the Alan W. Partin Professor of Urology at the Johns Hopkins University, and the Director of the Patrick C. Walsh Hereditary Prostate Cancer Program. Dr. Luo has studied the problem of prostate cancer for two decades. His research lab housed in the Brady Urological Institute now focuses on the use of genetic and genomic approaches for prostate cancer detection and treatment. His lab is also leading intensive clinical and functional studies of a germline mutation affecting risk for prostate cancer in men of African ancestry. Dr. Luo’s research work is funded by NIH, DOD, and private foundations. He is a member of the National Cancer Institute Prostate Cancer Task Force and the American Urological Association Research Grant and Investigator Support Committee. He serves on editorial boards for three urology and prostate-focused scientific journals, and has published over 100 research articles on prostate cancer and BPH.

Giorgio Russo, Italy
Prof. Giorgio I. Russo is Associate Professor of Urology at the University of Catania, Italy, since 2020. Prior to this he was a research and clinical fellow in the Department of Urology at the University of Tübingen with Prof. A. Stenzl. He is Chairman of the EAU Young Academic Urologists – Sexual and Reproductive Health working group and Ex-Officio member of the YOU and the ESAU section. He is a statistical analyst at the Urological Clinic at the University of Catania, with more than 250 publications (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/?term=russo+gi). In 2019, he was awarded the Ferring 2019 Grant for a project on bladder cancer, and in 2018 and 2020, the Young Academic Urologist Award of the European Association of Urology. He has spoken at many international (EAU, AUA, SIU) and national congresses in the field of andrology, sexual medicine and uro-oncology. He is member of the Global Andrology Forum chaired by Prof. Ashok Agarwal. 

Yao Zhu, China
Dr. Yao Zhu is a Professor of Urology at the Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center in China, where he specializes in robotic surgeries for urological cancers. His research focuses on providing effective treatment strategies for each patient at the optimal time. To fulfill this objective, he utilizes robotic surgical techniques, develops new tumor markers and precise diagnostic tools such as PET imaging, and uses genomic data to provide personalized treatment plans and genetic cancer prevention.

Hannes Cash, Germany

Dr. Hannes Cash is a Canadian/German urologist specialized in prostate cancer diagnostics and the treatment of BPH which are also his research interests. He is an associate Professor at the University of Magdeburg and is partner in PROURO Berlin a surgical practice focused on prostate health in Berlin Germany. Until 2020 he was an attending and associate Professor at Charité University Medicine Berlin where he also completed his training.
Dr. Cash is a member of the German Focal Therapy working group, a member of the German prostate cancer guideline panel and has most recently joined the Editorial Board of Prostate Cancer and Prostatatic Disease.

Simone Albisinni, Italy

Dr. Simone Albisinni is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgical Sciences, Division of Urology at Tor Vergata University in Rome. He has trained in urology in the Universite’ Libre de Bruxelles, in Belgium, where he developed the robotic cystectomy clinic and training program. His research focuses on prostate and urothelial cancer, as well as robotic surgery. Member of the YAU Urothelial carcinoma working group, Dr Albisinni is particularly passionate about minimally invasive surgery, with particular emphasis on robotics.

Antonio Cicione, Italy

Dr Antonio Cicione was trained at University “La Sapienza” of Rome. Then, He completed a PhD programme and a clinical and research fellowship in minimally invasive urological surgery.
He works as Urology Consultant at the Academic Hospital “Sant’Andrea – La Sapienza University” in Rome. His main areas of clinical and research interests are uro-oncology and lower urinary tract symptoms (investigation and management).  He thinks about the editorial activity as a fine way to learn continuously.

Thomas Zilli, Switzerland

Prof. Thomas Zilli is head of the Radiation Oncology Clinic at the Oncology Institute of Southern Switzerland (IOSI-EOC) in Bellinzona, Switzerland, and Associate Professor at the Università della Svizzera Italiana (USI) and  at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Geneva, Switzerland. He graduated in Medicine in 2004 at University of Udine (Italy) and specialized in Radiation Oncology at the Geneva University Hospital. Main research includes the treatment of prostate cancer patients using modern high-precision radiotherapy techniques as well as the use of molecular imaging in the radiotherapy planning. He is actively involved in the GFRU society (Groupe Francophone de Radiothérapie en Urologie) and active member of the ESTRO, EORTC, and SAKK.
