Photodynamic Therapy: Two photons are better than one
Abstract
First used in extensive clinical trials in the 1980s (ref. 1), photodynamic therapy (PDT) has now been used with many tens of thousands of patients, notably with applications in several branches of oncology, ophthalmology and dermatology.
