Abstract
The use of inorganic charge transport layers has enabled the fabrication of bright, environmentally stable LEDs that are based on electrically pumped colloidal solutions of quantum dots.
Light-emitting diodes based on colloidal solutions of semiconductor nanocrystals known as quantum dots (QDs) are of great interest for display and lighting applications. This is largely attributable to the broad colour tunability and the ease with which QDs can be chemically processed.
