Kras and Hras|[mdash]|what is the difference?
Abstract
Mutations affecting the three prototype Ras oncoproteins, Hras, Nras and Kras, show a high degree of tumor-type specificity. For example, whereas Hras is often mutated in papillary thyroid cancer, Nras is often mutated in hepatocellular carcinoma, and Kras mutations are predominant in pancreatic, colorectal and non-small-cell lung carcinomas.
