Titanic climate change in store
There’s not enough methane on Titan to sustain its weather.
The ‘cold-Earth’ nature of Saturn’s moon Titan, with seas and rains of liquid methane rather than water, might not last forever.
A survey of the moon's liquid stores suggests that it will be able to support a cycle of evaporation and precipitation, similar to the Earth’s hydrological cycle, only for another ten million years1.
