There must several hundred thousand of in progress university students who are witnessing this delusional conduct by the current administration, and intrigued by what value their education will have upon graduation in a world of untruth and deceit; certainly we alumni are in such a state. Was our education just a waste of time? Ray Tostado
It is good that Mr. Tollefson did not express surprise in this report at the actions of this Administration. That would have been silly, considering.
Mr. Tostado, you are absolutely right. I go to University of Colorado at Boulder and I am trying to convince my friends, family and everyone that these things need to change. Our government and society is so obviously wrong its gross. I just came back from Las Vegas because I went for a music festival. That city makes me sick. There is a reason it is called sin city for a reason. Why do people want to sin? It is not that I am a Christian or Jewish or anything else for that reason. I just believe in God and I believe there was a Jesus and he told us we are all God's children. All he said was love each and be thankful and what did society do to him? Put him on a cross. Same thing with people like Martin Luther King Jr. Why are the really really good people killed? Why would we not listen to these wonderfully smart scientists? Why shouldn't everyone be open to change? My family is wealthy and my father votes straight republican no matter what. That is wrong. That is ignorant. A lot of people think being liberal is wrong but liberal just means changes. We should all always want to change as long as it is change for the better. I want to be the next leader of this nation. I will not be a democrat, I will not be a republican, I will be for the PEOPLE PARTY. That is what is real. That is what is right. Nothing else.
This shows very clearly that the power behind the US Government is within the rich business community. No matter who is in government, business will pull the strings in their interests and not in America's peopleâs interest which are regarded with contempt.
"in some cases such as agriculture, the impact in the United States might be beneficial." Don't forget the majority of living people live outside of the United States!
This fits in perfectly with what was presented in the movie "the 11th hour" - go see it and then send the PDF of this article to everyone you know!
Tollefon's piece should remind us all that we get what we vote for, and that if you don't vote you get what you vote for.
Sean, Study harder
I know that it is business who pulls the strings, that is why I am going to take over my family company, an oil company, and use that money to do the most I possibly can for the most amount of people! I will give to my community, country and the rest of the world, along with missionary work in Africa, Guatemala and other third world nations. Thanks for the advice though, I am studying my hardest!
