Physics opportunities at LEP

Abstract

The clean signature for particles produced at CERN's new Large Electron-Positron collider (LEP) should make possible the detection of exotic particles such as the Higgs boson and supersymmetric species. With precision measurements of important parameters, the Standard Model for elementary particles should be improved and tested.
