Mechanism for Cosmic Ray Modulation

Abstract

IT is commonly believed that the basic mechanism responsible for the 11 yr solar cycle variation in cosmic ray intensity is well understood. We wish to show that on present evidence there is still a major puzzle concerning the dynamics of the process.
