Abstract
SINCE the chemistry of chlorophyll was elucidated by the researches of Willstatter, very little progress has been made in the interpretation of its function. Recently Noack has attempted an experimental attack upon the problem along a new line, and a general account of his experiments which appeared in Die Naturwissenschaften for April 30, 1926, provides a convenient opportunity to review his results.
