Confocal microscopy images of HEK-293T cells transfected with cDNAs of human dopamine D_2S receptor and human D_4,4 (top) or D_4,7 (bottom) receptors. D₄ receptors are shown in red, D_2S is shown in green and co-localization in yellow. The images show a high co-localization of D_2S with D_4,2 but not with D_4,7 receptors.
