Scope: Marking the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare’s death in Stratford-upon-Avon this article collection presents diverse scholarly perspectives that aim to illuminate academic thinking about Shakespeare, his writings, the social and political contexts that shaped him, as well the enduring cultural (and other) influences of his creative achievements to the present day.
