Statistics in Nutrition

EJCN has launched a new collection, Statistics in Nutrition, that aims to showcase the application of biostatistics in nutrition research. The papers in this series can be original articles, reviews, comments, or perspectives. They should introduce new ideas or approaches, or revise and update existing approaches for improved statistical analysis of data from any study design central to nutrition research.

Clearly, such submissions must be applied in nature, be concrete, constructive, and not purely theoretical, so that our readership can readily appreciate their added value towards advancing nutrition research. Reproducible real-life examples, demonstrating advantages and benefits of proposed methodology, are encouraged. We will not accept comments on flaws and shortcomings in statistical analyses of papers recently published in EJCN (or elsewhere) for this collection. Those are best suited as a letter to the editor.

Authors of papers meeting the specified requirements are encouraged to contact the Editor in Chief, Mario Soares on m.soares@sjri.res.in with an overview of their planned submission.
