Dr Fazliny Binti Abd Rahman earned her PhD in Biotechnology with a focus on molecular biology and stem cell research from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Malaya (UM), Malaysia, in 2017. Presently, Dr Fazliny serves as a lecturer in the Faculty of Dentistry at SEGi University, Malaysia. Additionally, she takes on the responsibility of supervising both postgraduate and undergraduate students in their final projects. Dr Fazliny specialises in dental stem cell research, with her ongoing project exploring the effects of aspirin on dental stem cells. Her extensive expertise has garnered her external and internal grants, and she has successfully established research collaborations with both local and international researchers. Notably, she has secured a matching grant with another university to support her collaborative research efforts.

Dr Zhekai (Kevin) Hu is a Dental Resident at the University of Rochester. His research interests are in orthodontic tooth movement and bone metabolism epigenetics. He received his PhD in Orthodontics from The University of Hong Kong, earning the prestigious HKU Presidential PhD Award for his research. Dr Hu also holds a Master's in Dental Surgery in Orthodontics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Shandong University, China. Renowned for his significant contributions to dental and orthodontic research, he has published extensively in high-impact journals and received numerous awards for his academic excellence.
