Support Stool's unique free-floating mechanism is easily adjusted to enable dentists to sit comfortably in the Alexander Technique position, which specifies that the occupant should be seated with the bottom pushed out so that it holds the back in its natural S shape. The thighs should be slightly higher than the knees and the feet flat on the floor, leaving the occupant in a naturally balanced position with the muscles at their most relaxed.

The diaphragm is also more relaxed which enables deeper more regular breathing, helping food digestion and fighting fatigue. The stool has a choice of heights for standard or tall people and wheels for hard or soft flooring.
