Now in its 25th year, Ucer Education is delighted to announce that its Multi-system Certificate Course has achieved EduQual Level 7 accreditation, as a formal Postgraduate Certificate in Implant Dentistry.

The course, which is held at the impressive ICE Postgraduate Dental Institute and Hospital, is now a vocationally-related qualification, accredited and awarded by EduQual, an established UK awarding body which offers a range of qualifications that are credit-rated for the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA).

Course leader, Professor Cemal Ucer is a highly-regarded authority on implant education and a contributor to the GDC/FGDP(UK)'s Training standards in implant dentistry (2016).

Commencing 21 November 2018, the 12-day (one day-a-month) Postgraduate Certificate in Implant Dentistry programme will focus on academic teaching with practical preclinical skills development. To achieve the required clinical competence for independent clinical practice of implant dentistry, the academic education is followed by clinical skills development on live patients provided by the centre preparing the trainees to meet the GDC/FGDP(UK)'s Training standards in implant dentistry (2016).
