GC's D-Light Pro features a unique Detection Mode which makes it ideal for MI dentistry. It is also the world's first autoclavable curing light which helps ensure optimal hygiene and eliminate the risk of cross contamination.

GC D-Light Pro's unique Detection (DT) mode uses near-UV light only. This violet mode, with a continuous 60 second irradiation, enables clinicians to spot what is not always visible to the naked eye, from infection of dentine to plaque and micro-leakage around old restorations etc. Not designed to polymerise materials, it helps visualise bacterial activity and fluorescent materials. Areas displaying bacterial activity exhibit a red fluorescence whilst healthy tooth structure shows with a green fluorescence, helping clinicians prepare their cavities in as minimally invasive a way as possible.

D-Light Pro is a cordless dual wavelength LED curing light. In its High Power (HP) mode it guarantees very efficient polymerisation of all light-cured materials, regardless of the photo-initiator used. Its Low Power (LP) mode is perfect when clinicians want to limit heat generation in deep cavities.

Finally D-Light Pro offers efficient irradiation regardless of distance. This is important because in some clinical situations it is often not possible to place the curing light in ideal proximity to the material to be polymerised.
