The Robert Koch Institute has published a comprehensive guide to hygiene in dental medicine and has given their consent for Dürr Dental to reproduce the guidelines. The guide is easy to use and covers every aspect of dentistry from the preparation of materials to cleaning suction units and the packaging of sterile instruments. The guide also looks at more specific requirements such as the additional measures that should be taken with patients who have lower immunity such as those undergoing chemotherapy. The risks of CJD are also explained.

Durr Dental offers its customers hygiene plans to help manage the plethora of tasks needed to keep the surgery clean; staff can see, at a glance, what needs to be done, how it should be done, when and by whom. The chart is colour coded for easy use – blue for instruments, green for surfaces, pink for skin and hands, and yellow for special areas such as suction systems and amalgam separators

Dürr Dental manufactures an entire range of hygiene products. As on the Hygiene Plan, all are conveniently colour coded to identify each products application.
