In the article "Identification of a Novel Copper-Binding Protein from Indian Childhood Cirrhosis of the Liver: Purification and Physicochemical Characterization," by Rajendra Prasad, Gurjit Kaur, Ramanjeet Mond, and Brij N. S. Walia (Pediatric Research 44:673-681, 1998):

The Title should read: "Identification of a Novel Copper-Binding Protein from the Liver of Indian Childhood Cirrhosis: Purification and Physicochemical Characterization"

The first sentence of the Abstract should read: A novel copper-binding protein was identified in the liver supernatant (100,000 × g) of Indian childhood cirrhosis (ICC), purified to apparent homogenity and characterized.

On page 673, column 2, line 1, the correct enzyme is dopamine β-hydroxylase.

On page 674, column 2, line 5, Norwalk, CT should read Norwalk, CO.

On page 675, column 2, the first sentence under the subheading "Purification of MCuBP" should read: The copper content in ICC liver supernatant (100,000 × g) was about 9-fold higher than in the control liver supernatant.

Figure 6 legend should read: Ultraviolet spectra of ICC hepatic MCuBP. The spectra of purified MCuBP were recorded on a double beam Hitachi U-3200 spectrophotometer attached with a chart recorder at pH 8.0 (–––––) pH 2.0 (―), 0.5 M D-penicillamine (–·–·–·–), and in the presence of 0.5 M histidine (……).
