Additional Evidence for the Existence of a Very High Energy Solar Particle Component

Abstract

WE present here initial results of a statistical analysis of 6,300 h of data obtained from the CSU underground solar cosmic ray experiment1. The data correspond to the interval March 1971–June 1972. We draw attention to an apparently significant trend existing in the results.
