102 children (mean age 7.2 years) underwent primary distal hypospadias repair using the 'Snodgraft' modification, which has been suggested to reduce the risk of stenosis. Indeed, at a mean of 2.4 years after surgery, no patient had meatal stenosis or diverticulum at the inlay graft site. Whether this modification is a significant improvement upon routine tubularized incised plate repair is unknown without a randomized trial.
