Modulation of the Excitatory Synaptic Response by Fast Transient K+ Current in Snail Neurones

Abstract

A time ana voitage-aepenaent conductance change of the postsynaptic membrane is found in some molluscan neurones. This can short-circuit excitatory postsynaptic potentials and may be a mechanism for controlling the efficiency of excitatory synaptic input.
