Abstract

STREPTOVARICINS, inhibitors of the RNA dependent DNA polymerase of oncogenic RNA viruses1, inhibit Moloney sarcoma virus-induced transformation2. If selective inhibition of virus-mediated oncogenesis can be extended to the whole animal it could provide a mode of chemotherapy which does not depend on the non-selective action of most oncolytic drugs.
