Synthesised according to the same general procedure as A7 on a 0.50 g scale with respect to dinitrile. White solids, 0.62g, 68% yield. Spectral data are consistent with those reported in D2O (Mauro, M.; Aliprandi, A.; Cebrian, C.; Wang, D.; Kubel, C.; De Cola, L. Self-assembly of a Neutral Platinum(II) Complex into Highly Emitting Microcrystalline Fibers Through Metallophilic Interactions. Chem. Commun. 50, 7269 (2014)). 1H NMR (400MHz, DMSO-d6) δ = 10.00 (br s, 8H), 8.84 (d, J=8.0 Hz, 2H), 8.53 (t, J=8.0 Hz, 1H). 13C NMR (101MHz, DMSO-d6) δ = 160.45, 144.04, 140.77, 127.30. HRMS (ESI): m/z [M-2HCl+H]+ calcd for C7H10N5 164.0931; Found 164.0927.
