We regret to announce that Professor Guy Morrant, Emeritus Professor of Conservative Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute, died in London on 27 February 2006 He was 84 years old.

During his 33 years as head of department from 1948-1981, he taught many home and overseas students, particularly on the MSc course.
