Pinpointing the location of a neurotransmitter-linked ion channel

Abstract

The distribution of a potassium channel subunit (GIRK1) on the dendritic shafts and spines of hippocampal pyramidal neurons suggests functional coupling with several important neurotransmitter receptors.
