Three glycolytic enzymes are phosphorylated at tyrosine in cells transformed by Rous sarcoma virus

Abstract

Isozymes of enolase, phosphoglycerate mutase and lactate dehydrogenase are phosphorylated at tyrosine in cells transformed by viruses whose transforming proteins are tyrosine protein kinases. The role of these structural modifications in the regulation of glycolysis in such cells is not known.
