Susceptibility to Cold in Newborns of Levodopa-treated Rats

Abstract

LEVODOPA was developed for treating diseases of late maturrity1,2, but it is now being administered for diseases that occur during the child-bearing age3. Questions have arisen therefore about its effect on offspring. Observations were made on the offspring of rats treated with levodopa before mating or during gestation. Control mothers were treated with saline.
