Cell Surveillance Model for Lymphocyte Cooperation

Abstract

A model is proposed for clonal proliferation and antibody production of B lymphocytes. It suggests that changes in the B cell surface due to specific antigen binding are detected by T lymphocytes, which then stimulate the B cell to proliferate.
